  • Anyone over the age of 14 can take part in the challenge, regardless of country of residence.
  • Participation in the competition is free of charge
  • Your dataviz must use at least one dataset from a list of provided datasets
  • Other datasets can be used as long as they are publicly accessible
  • You are free to use any data visualization tools
  • Your dataviz submission must be publicly accessible


Submissions will be evaluated according to the following criteria :

Technical solution and analytical depth

The platform serves as a gateway to the most comprehensive collection of data and information about the Pacific across key areas including population statistics, fisheries science, climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction and resilience, public health surveillance, conservation of plant genetic resources for food security and human rights. is New Caledonia's open data platform. It enables New Caledonia's government and public sector authorities to publish datasets so as to promote transparency, accountability and value creation and innovation.
